It is all about motions and emotions that shape the fragile and unstable element of the human consciousness such as BEAUTY. Being a visual artist, I try to recreate the path of our intuition, which gives us visual preferences and shapes our definition of IDEAL. I guide the process of when a subject (model) becomes an image (painting/photo) and the 2D image transforms into the 3D object (ARTWORK). My works are about visual perception and the ways in which human forms respond to the color, line, shape, texture or pattern. I collect loose emotions as purposely-scattered elements of the image, and bring them back together to discover the definition of ALTERED beauty.
I was born in Asipovichi, Belarus in 1962. Following my passion, I attended and graduated from the Belarusian State Academy of the Arts in 1985. Upon graduation I began a career in the illustration and graphic design field, painting in my spare time. After several successful solo shows in the early 90's, I started to devote my attention to my art. Shortly after making this career change, my family and I moved to Toronto Canada. Being a full time artist I became an Elected member of the Society of Canadian Artists in 2009. In 2010 I was recognized by the US Government as a “Person with extra ordinary abilities in Art” and granted a Green Card. Shortly after I opened my second studio in Palm Beach, FL. Currently my artwork is exhibited in art galleries in US and Canada.
