New work by artist David Senecal. Acrylic on canvas and board, these abstracts have a haunting, organic feel to them -- obviously a nod to landscape -- but a great use of color and materials. In this triptych (three-piece), he uses ash, as both of symbol of the past and the things that have gone away, and because ash is used as fertilizer, as a symbol of rebirth and growth.
